This year we've combined the FastTrack's™ sleek, curved, touring shape with a state of the art "NeedleKnife Keel". Like a hot knife through butter this new style keel slices and dices through the current, wind, waves and water!

The  FastTracks™ have achieved a breakthrough in design, will crush the competition and are nearly unstoppable!

Sea Eagle's Patented NeedleKnife™ Rigid Inflatable Keel

 

The unique external drop stitch construction inflatable keel allows the FastTrack™ to paddle far faster and straighter than other inflatable kayaks. The keel features sharp bow and stern molds that slice through wind, waves and current for a super fast, super clean entry and exit! The inflatable bow keel also provides the buoyancy and lift needed to ride over waves and further improve speed.

 


The Shape Says it All
  1. Patented Drop Stitch Outside Keel (U.S. Patent #8,286,573) at bow rides over waves, providing buoyancy and constrains the natural yaw of an inflatable kayak
  2. Removable Rear Skeg keeps kayak headed on its intended course. Can be removed for whitewater use.
  3. Super rigid drop stitch floor increases the overall rigidity of the kayak and creates side chines under the pontoons that enhance overall paddling performance.

The real time saver of this bag design is the way it wraps around the boat hull. You don't have to spend time folding the boat to the exact proportions of the bag. Just roll up the boat and place on the open bag, and wrap the flaps around it.

  • Directional Stabilizer

    In flat water, slide on the large, removable skeg to keep the explorer on its intended course. The skeg limits the sideways deviation called yaw that comes from paddling, allowing for greater efficiency and speed. Ideal for those long treks across wide, scenic lakes renown for placid beauty.

Purchased my new Sea Eagle 385 Fasttrack pro carbon package from Spindrift.

Mark at spindrift was amazing and gave fantastic advice as well as answering my questions in order to ensure that the kayak I eventually purchased was the right choice for my needs.

Had a few trips out in my new kayak over the last few weeks and I have to say, compared to other makes of kayak I’ve been in doing same trips, the sea eagle is in a different league.
