Brilliant Canoe - Amazing Service from Spindrift

After a lot of research, I finally committed to this canoe. And I am definitely not disappointed. It is superb in every detail. The carry pack is well made and the canoe, seat, pump and paddles (plus my PFD) all fit into it easily. It is light (14kg ish) , and I can carry it a good long distance. However, I actually carry all of it in a trailer attached to my bike. So I can launch from anywhere I can take my bike ! The build quality of the canoe is superb, and the clever foot pedals and skeg (rear fin) are strong and easy to fit. I can get the canoe on the water within 6-7 minutes. At a push I honestly reckon I could do it in 5. It paddles beautifully, with wonderful straight tracking. And it is fast ! I get a lot of interest in it from other curious paddlers. Regarding delivery from Spindrift, Holy Macaroni, it actually arrived Next Day !! All well packaged and complete. I am absolutely delighted with the product and with Spindrift.

Great Kayak

After two years of paddling a normal sit-on-top and humping it on and off the roof rack, I decided to change to an inflatable. I watched numerous Youtube reviews, but was most impressed with the American ones of Sea Eagle EZlite 10, so ordered one from Spindrift.

Delivery was just a few days and everything arrived in perfect condition.

I was expecting inflation to be a workout, and to probably need an electric pump, but was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was with the pump provided. Fitting the seat and footrests was simple too. So, on the water within 10 minutes.

Compared with my old craft, the EZlite is just as stable, faster, and with the skeg fitted, it tracks far better. Heading upstream, if I stopped paddling the old one it would immediately stop too, but the EZlite just keeps going, and in a straight line.

I am 74 and enjoy paddling on local rivers all year round, so I think the EZlite 10 is the ideal kayak for me. Whilst more expensive than most, I think the price is justified by the quality and the performance.

Finally, I would give the kayak itself 5 stars, but I think it is let down slightly by the paddle that is supplied with the package. I normally use a 220cm paddle but this one is 245cm which I find much too long.

What a cracking kayak!

Absolutely love paddling my SeaEagle EasyLite10 from Spindrift. Everything from ordering to delivery was a breeze. Unfortunately my paddle arrived damaged but was replaced very promptly and professionally! (Thanks team, youve restored my faith in customer service) The kayak itself inflates in no time using my electric pump, the seat is comfy enough for a few hours paddling, it tracks really well and is surprisingly stable considering its v shaped hull. It moves through the water far better than any other inflatable kayak I have owned (trust me its an addiction) its really been a breath of fresh air into inflatable kayaking!

10/10 best purchase in a long while!

EZLITE10 - A PLEASURE TO PADDLE

I managed to take this Yak out yesterday for her maiden outing, and I have to say she performed outstandingly. This is a boat anyone can enjoy and will have fun in, from new paddlers to experienced kayakers like myself. I started kayaking over 20 years ago and have found most 10-foot boats have a large side-to-side rocking motion when paddled and I was amazed and happy to find out that the EZLite10 had hardly any apart from the first few strokes to get it going. I was also surprised to find how stable this boat is which new Paddlers will find very helpful while learning. The kayak itself is made to a very high standard from the Bow to Stern and the foot pegs are also very well made and very strong so you can put plenty of pressure on them if you want to pick up your speed.

This is a kayak I would recommend for anyone who loves the water and is looking for a very lite boat, whether it's your first or one to add to your collection you can't go wrong with the EZLite10
